Elizabeth StuckleElizabeth Stuckle is internationally recognized for deploying strategic and tactical communications campaigns to help companies successfully accomplish their business objectives and achieve their corporate vision. A progressive thinking communications and external relations executive, she has used leading-edge communications practices to address the strategic needs of government, corporate, agency, non-profit and academic institutions and helped them amplify their stories.
Elizabeth’s public relations and communications expertise spans a wide range of disciplines including media relations, corporate branding, issues management, crisis communications, grass roots campaigns, investor communications, government and community relations, adversarial coaching, marketing, advertising and employee communications.
Her leadership and management skills have created synergies among members of companies and organizations, energizing highly effective communications teams.
Early in her career, Elizabeth held positions in academic and non-profit environments. She entered the energy sector in the early 1980’s and made significant contributions to the public relations environment of the energy industry. She is known throughout the energy industry as having highly effective relationships with international, business and trade reporters.
Elizabeth is currently a Public Relations and Communications Consultant. Previously she served as Public Affairs Advisor at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on contract to assist with the aftermath of the Fukushima event in Japan. Among previous positions, she was the Director of Corporate Communications at USEC Inc. and Director of Communications at Progress Energy. She holds a BA in English from Wake Forest University, a MEd in Counseling Psychology from Campbell University, and has done extensive doctoral work in Psychology at N.C. State University.
